NTFA Launch Marketing Campaign
The ‘NTFA is in our DNA’ is the catchcry that accompanies the Associations push to keep community football relevant in this new era of elite Devils VFL/AFL games in Launceston.
“Once the VFL comes to town more people will be talking about football than ever before which is good for the game and for participation but we want people to remain switched onto attending local football as well,” said NTFA President Peter Gutwein.
‘This year we are going to be investing tens of thousands of dollars into TV, radio, newspapers and social media to keep local football in the minds of northern Tasmanians’.
The first advertisements this week will highlight the Round Zero game this Saturday at Prospect Park 28th March between St Pats and Bridgenorth.
The campaign which is being backed by a new partnership with Solstice Energy will run throughout the season and will promote the NTFA Premier, Division One and Two competitions whilst also focusing on key games like:
Round Zero, Good Friday, Anzac Day clashes as well as the Representative games and final series.
The game will be bigger here in the north than ever before and we want to ensure that as interest in the game grows so does local football as well.
