The 2025 NTFA Division 1 & 2 Grand Finals get underway on Friday night when Old Scotch take on key rival Bridgenorth in a blockbuster Division 1 Senior Women match at UTAS Stadium. All games will be at UTAS Stadium!
Game 1: Old Scotch Senior Women vs Bridgenorth Senior Women - Friday Night @ 7:00pm
We kick off the first 2025 NTFA Grand Final with an absolute blockbuster on Friday night at UTAS Stadium! In 2025, you couldn't split the difference between the two sides, with Old Scotch winning twice and Bridgenorth claiming one win. Bridgenorth have been on fire in recent years winning the 2024 Grand Final and playing in the 2023 Grand Final, can they go back to back? Bridgenorth's Women's team has been powered by their stars including Jenna Griffiths who won the league Best & Fairest + Leading Goal Kicker award in 2024 and is continuing her stellar form in 2025.
Old Scotch will look to spoil Bridgenorth's party and continue their strong run to claim a Premiership Cup. Old Scotch finished 2nd on the regular season ladder with the same number of wins as Bridgenorth just a less percentage, both clubs won & lost 1 game to each other in the home & away season. Old Scotch's Amy Prokopiec has been the standout star this season currently sitting on 96 goals, she kicked 4 goals in the 2nd semi final against Bridgenorth, if history repeats itself then it will be a remarkable feat on Grand Final day!

Game 2: Evandale Reserves vs Perth Reserves - Saturday @ 9:25am
The Division 2 Reserves kick us off on Saturday morning at 9:25am once again at UTAS Stadium. It is a 1 vs 2 match up with Evandale toppling the minor premiers in the 2nd semi final by 7 points to book the their ticket straight through to the big dance. Perth regathered to beat Campbell Town the week after to book their spot in the Grand Final. Evandale will look to relive the 2nd Semi Final and get the job done against the dominant Perth who finished the season on top of the ladder. Neither club has beaten the opposition by more than 7 points this year, there isn't much splitting this rivalry.
Perth's season has been near perfect with both their Senior & Reserves teams making the Grand Final, only going down by 7 points in the 2nd Semi Final. In what will be another cracking matchup played on a big ground, who will prevail and lift the silverware on Saturday morning?

Game 3: Bridgenorth Reserves vs Rocherlea Reserves - Saturday @ 11:45am
Another reserves game that could go either way with Rocherlea finishing just 2 points clear of Bridgenorth in the home & away ladder. Once again you couldn't have split the sides in the 2025 season with Bridgenorth defeating twice, and Rocherlea getting the job done against Bridgenorth once in Round 11. These two sides met in the 2nd Semi Final at Rocherlea's home with Bridgenorth taking away the chocolates and booking their entry straight through to the Grand Final. Similar to that of Perth Football Club, Rocherlea has been dominant all season in both their Seniors and Reserves, giving credit to their program.
However after Bridgenorth beat them in the 2nd Semi Final only weeks ago, they will look to continue to keep the momentum rolling and get the job done again. With the top 2 leading goal kickers from the Division 1 Reserves competition coming from both Rocherlea (1) and Bridgenorth (2), this will be a highly entertaining and close match up. Game 4: East Coast Senior Men vs Perth Senior Men - Saturday @ 2:05pm
Dominant seasons by both teams finishing 1st & 2nd at the conclusion of the 2025 home & away season. Perth will look to rebound from their first loss of the year in the 2nd Semi Final after going undefeated throughout the H&A season. East Coast Swans were dominant in the 2nd Semi beating Perth at their home by 47 points and keeping them to their lowest score of the year (7.8 50). Playing on the big surface being UTAS Stadium, it will be anyone's game on Saturday.
Perth's Senior Team's standout this year has been Ben Elmer who has put on a masterclass kicking 100 goals in the home & away season, bringing up the milestone in a 14-goal haul in the final round. Perth's Andy Potter & Josiah Burling will also look to continue their form, featuring in the 'Best Players' on 10 separate occasions so far in 2025. Perth looked untouchable all season, not dropping a game, until East Coast knocked them off in the 2nd Semi Final. East Coast's Will Stoltenberg & Marcus Haley featured among the Best Players in their 47 point win, whilst also featuring highly in the Best Players throughout the season. Game 5: Rocherlea Senior Men vs Hillwood Senior Men - Saturday @ 5:00pm
A re-match of the 2023 NTFA Grand Final, in which Rocherlea defeated Hillwood by 10 points at UTAS Stadium. Rocherlea has been dominant all season going through undefeated all year, and adding to this, winning their 2nd Semi Final by a whopping 145 points against Lilydale showing their dominance. On the other hand, Hillwood have come from 4th to make another Grand Final, beating St Pats, Bracknell & Lilydale all when it mattered to book their ticket to the bid dance on Saturday afternoon.
Rocherlea has had sustained success for the last 4 years finishing in the top 3 in all of those seasons. Competing in the 2022 Grand Final, Winning the 2023 Grand Final, and narrowly missing out on the 2024 Grand Final after a 2 point, double extra time loss against Longford in the preliminary final, just showing how sustained their success has been. Rocherlea's Josh Ponting has had another incredible year in the Best Players 15 out of the 17 games that he is played, 88% of the time. Rocherlea star, Jordan Cousens took out the league's leading goal kicker award for 2025 with his teammate, Andrew Cox-Goodyer in second not far behind him.
Hillwood had a shaky start to the start of the 2025 season winning only 2 of their first 8 games, however they have steading the ship and come good at the right time having a really good second half of the season. Hamish Leedham has been on fire for the Sharks featuring in their Best Players 16 out of the 18 games he has played. Hillwood has also been prominent in the last couple of years featuring in the 2023 Grand Final loss against Rocherlea, beating Bridgenorth in a lightning affected 2024 Elimination Final by 3 points and losing to Rocherlea in the 1st Semi Final by only 4 points!
