NTFA President, Peter Gutwein Provides an Update on U18 Rosters

NTFA to finalise Teams in Under 18 Competition Next Week 👇

NTFA President Peter Gutwein has drawn a line in the sand and said by Wednesday next week clubs who don't have an acceptable number of player registrations will not be able to take part in the Under 18 Competition for 2025.  

Registrations across most clubs are generally going well and some clubs have really strong lists however many still need to meet an acceptable level to have a team in the roster this year.

The majority of clubs are looking pretty good and most have had good numbers on the track but regardless of which club you are with, if you are interested in a game of footy make sure you get registered in coming days.

In recent weeks I have spoken to all club Presidents about the importance of meeting minimum requirements for their u/18 lists during the first week of March as with the season starting in April we need to draw up and finalise the roster.

My message to young footballers, is if you want a game of footy get your skates on and register your interest with your local club so that we can settle the NTFA U/18 roster next week".
