NTFA Promotes Child Safety
NTFA Child and Youth Safeguarding Statement -
The NTFA is committed to promoting and protecting the safety and well-being of children and young people in our care that access activities, programs, services, and facilities for which the NTFA is responsible for.
The NTFA’s safeguarding policy and procedures seek to promote and protect the rights of all children and young people in our care and prevent abuse from occurring by fostering a child safe culture. In the event of concern or an allegation is raised in relation to child abuse that has occurred under the NTFA’s care, the NTFA will ensure that it is treated seriously, in a culturally sensitive manner and fully investigated in accordance with relevant legislation and the NTFA’s policy and procedures.
As a leading organisation in the community, the NTFA will actively promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people, whilst recognising the need for participants to take direct responsibility for providing a safe physical and online environment for children and young people in their care.
Yours Sincerely,
Damien Rhind
NTFA President
